Yucca gloriosa is a very hardy outdoor plant that requires full sun exposure, with a minimum of 6 hours of direct sunlight per day. Water it very sparingly, allowing the substrate to dry out completely between waterings, as it is highly sensitive to excess moisture and poorly drained soils. It withstands hard frosts (down to -15°C), making it ideal for Mediterranean gardens with no need for winter protection. Be cautious with its rigid, sharp-pointed leaves, and keep in mind that the plant is toxic, so handle it with gloves and keep it away from children and pets.
