Pansy

Viola tricolor

Description

Small seasonal plant ideal for planters. Blooms even in winter.

Growing tips

Pansies need between 4 and 8 hours of direct sunlight per day to bloom well during winter and spring; place them in a sunny spot whether outdoors or indoors near a south-facing window. Water with moderate frequency, keeping the substrate slightly moist but never waterlogged, as they tolerate cold well but not excess water at the roots. Plant them in autumn or winter in a well-drained, light substrate, and do not worry about frost, as they withstand temperatures down to -10 °C without any issues.
