Biennial plant with large soft leaves covered in hairs, with tall flower spikes crowned with yellow flowers. Traditionally used in folk medicine for its expectorant properties.
Requires minimal watering, prefers well-drained and dry soil. Thrives in sunny locations and tolerates drought well. Sow directly in garden or grow in pots.
