Ulex europaeus
Thorny shrub of the legume family with showy yellow flowers that blooms mainly in winter and spring. Highly resistant to adverse conditions and requires minimal care.
Requires full sun and well-drained soil. Needs very little water, only rainfall. No regular pruning needed. Tolerates frost and extreme drought.
