Wild tulip with light yellow flowers and delicate fragrance. Rhizomatous plant that naturalizes well in Mediterranean gardens.
Plant the bulbs in autumn in a sunny spot (at least 6 hours of direct sun) and in well-drained soil to prevent rot. Being highly frost-resistant (down to -15 °C), it needs no winter protection and adapts perfectly to Mediterranean outdoor gardens. Water very sparingly, especially in summer when the plant is dormant, as it tolerates drought well. Keep in mind that it has mild toxicity, so handle it with care if children or pets are present.
