Triteleia laxa
Californian bulb with delicate blue flower umbels. Drought-resistant and ideal for xerophilic gardens.
The Triteleia laxa needs full sun exposure, with a minimum of 6 hours of direct sunlight per day, and is ideal for Mediterranean and xerophytic gardens. Plant the bulbs in autumn or spring in well-drained soil, as it does not tolerate excess moisture and requires very little watering, especially during its summer dormancy period. It is a very hardy plant, frost-resistant down to -12 °C, so it needs no winter protection in most climates. Allow the foliage to die back naturally after the late-spring and summer flowering to ensure the bulb remains healthy for the following season.
