Teucrium polium
Mediterranean medicinal plant traditionally used for liver function and digestion. Very resistant to drought.
Teucrium polium requires full sun exposure (at least 6-7 hours daily) and a well-drained substrate, preferably calcareous or sandy, as it is very sensitive to excess moisture at the roots. Water very sparingly, allowing the substrate to dry out completely between waterings, especially in winter. It is a hardy plant that tolerates frost down to -10 °C and thrives in dry Mediterranean climates. Caution: it is toxic if ingested inappropriately, so handle it with care.
