Teucrium lucidum
Aromatic shrub with glossy lanceolate leaves and purple flowers. Fast-growing and excellent for informal hedges.
Plant Teucrium lucidum in an outdoor spot with full sun exposure (at least 6 hours of direct sunlight per day), as it is not suitable for indoors. Water sparingly, allowing the substrate to dry out completely between waterings, and use a well-drained, low-fertility soil typical of Mediterranean climates. It is frost-hardy down to -6 °C, so it tolerates cold winters without special protection. In spring or autumn, you can lightly prune it to maintain its shape as an informal hedge.
