Tanacetum parthenium
Herbaceous plant with aromatic finely divided leaves and small white flowers. Medicinal and decorative.
Feverfew (Tanacetum parthenium) needs at least 5-6 hours of direct sunlight per day and moderate watering, allowing the soil to dry out slightly between waterings to prevent root rot. It is very hardy and tolerates temperatures down to -10 °C, making it suitable for year-round outdoor growing in Mediterranean climates. Plant it in well-drained soil in spring or autumn, and bear in mind that it is mildly toxic, so prolonged skin contact should be avoided.
