Stachys byzantina
Perennial plant with leaves covered in fine silvery-gray down that gives it a distinctive soft texture. It produces purple flowers in spikes during summer and is very drought-resistant.
Requires well-drained soil and minimal watering. Avoid excess moisture that can cause root rot. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage more blooms. Very tolerant of drought and pests.
