Sclerocactus papyracanthus
Small globular cactus native to the Sonora Desert with paper-thin spines and yellow flowers. It is a rare and protected species cultivated by collectors.
Requires abundant direct sunlight, excellent drainage and very occasional watering. Tolerates frost but needs protection in severe winters. Sensitive to rot from excessive moisture.
