Sanguisorba minor
Herbaceous plant with astringent properties, traditionally used for throat and mouth problems.
Sanguisorba minor (salad burnet) is a hardy and easy-to-grow plant that needs direct sunlight for at least 5-6 hours a day in an outdoor space. Water it moderately, allowing the soil to dry out slightly between waterings, and plant it in well-drained soil to prevent waterlogging. It is highly frost-resistant, tolerating temperatures down to -18 °C, so winter protection is not needed in most climates. Plant it in spring or autumn for best results, and enjoy its small red flowers throughout the summer.
