Rosemary

Salvia rosmarinus

Description

Aromatic and culinary plant, very resistant to drought.

Growing tips

Rosemary needs at least 6 hours of direct sunlight per day and is best planted in spring or autumn in a well-drained substrate, as it is very sensitive to excess moisture. Water sparingly and allow the substrate to dry out completely between waterings, since it is a highly drought-tolerant plant. It is hardy and withstands temperatures down to -10 °C, but should always be grown outdoors where it can receive plenty of direct light. It is easy to care for and requires virtually no special maintenance once established.
