Rosa rugosa
Shrub Rose: A rustic rose with long flowering period and very resistant to diseases.
Rosa rugosa needs between 5 and 10 hours of direct sunlight per day to bloom abundantly from spring to autumn; plant it in a sunny outdoor spot. Water with moderate frequency, allowing the substrate to dry out slightly between waterings, and use well-drained soil. It is very hardy and withstands frost down to -20 °C, so no special winter protection is needed. Prune dead stems and apply a rose fertiliser in spring to encourage lush, fragrant blooming.
