Climbing Rose

Rosa climbing

Description

Climbing rose ideal for pergolas, walls and fences.

Growing tips

This climbing rose needs between 5 and 10 hours of direct sunlight daily to bloom abundantly in spring and summer; plant it outdoors on a pergola, wall or fence where it can climb up to 6 metres tall. Water with moderate frequency, keeping the soil slightly moist but never waterlogged, using a well-draining substrate enriched with organic compost. It is very hardy and tolerates frost down to -15 °C, though it benefits from maintenance pruning at the end of winter to encourage flowering. Handle with care due to its thorns and bear in mind that the plant has mild toxicity.
