Prunus spinosa
Blackthorn is a deciduous shrub valued for bonsai with small leaves, abundant white flowers and dark fruits. A very hardy species that develops a beautiful structure with fine branching.
Needs direct sunlight and moderate watering. Regular pruning in summer to maintain shape. Highly frost and cold hardy. Fertilize during growing season. Repot every 2-3 years.
