Hardy conifer bonsai native to Northern Europe with fine bluish-green foliage. It develops a characteristic reddish-orange bark that becomes increasingly attractive with age.
Requires outdoor location with plenty of sunlight. Keep substrate constantly moist with excellent drainage. Annual pruning in autumn. Tolerates frost well. Fertilize during active growth.
