Pinellia ternata
Asian herbaceous plant with ternate leaves that forms underground tubers. Traditionally used in Chinese medicine for its expectorant and anti-inflammatory properties.
Keep soil moist but well-drained. Prefers cool places with indirect light. Allow tubers to rest in winter in a cool, dry location. Repot each spring.
