Photinia × fraseri
Semi-evergreen shrub or small tree with bright green leaves and white spring flowers. Adapted to Mediterranean climate and highly drought-resistant.
The Photinia × fraseri requires an outdoor location with direct sunlight, ideally between 6 and 12 hours per day, as it is not suitable for indoor growing. Water it with moderate frequency, allowing the soil to dry out slightly between waterings, especially during summer. It is very hardy and tolerates temperatures down to -15 °C, so no winter protection is needed in Mediterranean climates. Plant it in autumn or spring in well-drained soil with enough space, as it can reach between 3 and 6 metres in height.
