Scented Geranium

Pelargonium graveolens

Description

Scented geranium with aromatic leaves. Small and fragrant flowers.

Growing tips

The scented geranium needs between 6 and 8 hours of direct sunlight per day, whether kept in a bright indoor spot or outdoors. Water sparingly, allowing the substrate to dry out completely between waterings, as it tolerates drought well. Use a well-draining substrate to prevent root rot, and do not worry about mild winters, as it withstands temperatures down to 0 °C. Trim long stems in spring to encourage a more compact shape and abundant flowering.
