Pancratium maritimum
Mediterranean bulbous plant with star-shaped white flowers that are very aromatic, grayish leaves and high salt resistance.
Sea daffodil requires full sun exposure (at least 6 hours daily) and sandy or very well-drained soil, as it is highly sensitive to waterlogging around the roots; water sparingly, allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Plant the bulbs in autumn outdoors — never indoors — and do not worry about cold spells: it tolerates down to -5 °C without issue. Be mindful of its toxicity if children or pets are nearby.
