Osteospermum jucundum
Groundcover plant with daisy-like flowers in pink with dark center, long flowering period. Very drought resistant and easy to grow.
The colourful daisy needs an outdoor spot with direct sun, ideally between 6 and 10 hours a day, as it is not suitable for indoors. Watering should be sparse, allowing the substrate to dry out well between waterings, since it is very drought-resistant. It tolerates light frosts down to -5 °C, making it ideal for Mediterranean climates, and is best planted in spring or autumn. To encourage prolonged pink flowering throughout spring, summer and autumn, deadhead spent flowers regularly.
