Ornithogalum umbellatum
Plant with star-shaped white flowers grouped in umbels. Very rustic and requires minimal maintenance, perfect for naturalizations.
Plant the bulbs in autumn in a sunny spot with at least 5 hours of direct sunlight and well-drained soil, as it tolerates frost down to -8 °C and thrives perfectly outdoors in Mediterranean climates. Water sparingly and allow the soil to dry out between waterings, especially in summer when the plant goes dormant. It is ideal for naturalising low-maintenance garden areas. Bear in mind that it is toxic, so avoid contact with the sap and keep it away from children and pets.
