Opuntia robusta
Opuntia robusta is a robust shrubby cactus with thick, green pads. It produces yellow flowers followed by edible, fleshy fruits with a deep purple-red color that are delicious and nutritious.
Requires full sun and excellent drainage. Water sparingly, only when soil is completely dry. Drought and frost resistant, ideal for Mediterranean climates. Does not require frequent fertilizing.
