Opuntia polyacantha
Bushy cactus from the Cactaceae family with flat pads covered in fine spines. Produces yellow flowers and edible fruits known as prickly pears.
Prefers direct sunlight and well-drained soil. Water moderately in summer, minimally in winter. Highly drought and frost resistant. Ideal for xeric gardens.
