Opuntia compressa
North American cactus with flattened and compressed stems. Produces yellow flowers and edible fruits known as prickly pears, highly drought-tolerant.
Requires direct sunlight and well-drained soil. Water sparingly, only when soil is dry. Very cold and drought-resistant. Protect from excess moisture in winter.
