Neoporteria chilensis
Small globular Chilean cactus native to the Andes, characterized by its strong spines and bright red flowers. A very hardy plant suitable for succulent collections.
Requires full sun and well-draining sandy soil. Water rarely in summer and almost not at all in winter. Cold-tolerant and ideal for rock gardens.
