Orange Daffodil

Narcissus pseudonarcissus subsp. major

Description

Classic spring flower with orange crown and yellow petals. Perfect for Mediterranean garden planning.

Growing tips

Plant the bulbs in autumn in a spot with direct sunlight (at least 5 hours per day), in well-drained soil to prevent rot. Watering should be moderate during spring growth and flowering, then reduced once the leaves die back at the end of the cycle. It is very hardy and tolerates temperatures down to -18 °C, so it can be left outdoors year-round without issue. Note: the entire plant is toxic if ingested, so handle it with care if children or pets are present.
