Muscari armeniacum
Muscari with small blue flowers grouped in fragrant racemes. A rustic plant of easy cultivation that naturalizes effortlessly.
Plant the bulbs in autumn in a sunny spot (at least 5 hours of direct sunlight), in well-drained soil to prevent waterlogging, as the plant tolerates low watering and is very frost-hardy down to -12 °C. Water moderately during autumn and spring, and reduce watering almost completely in summer when the plant is dormant. Caution: this plant is toxic — avoid contact with the mouth and eyes, and keep it away from children and pets.
