Morus alba
Large and vigorous tree that produces sweet and juicy white mulberries. It grows quickly and tolerates various soil conditions well.
The white mulberry needs an outdoor location with direct sunlight, ideally between 6 and 12 hours a day, as it can reach between 5 and 12 metres in height and requires plenty of space. Water it moderately, allowing the soil to dry out slightly between waterings, and plant it in autumn or spring in a well-drained substrate. It is very hardy and tolerates frost down to -20 °C, so it needs no winter protection in Mediterranean or continental climates. It is an easy-to-grow and vigorous tree, ideal for large gardens where it can develop freely.
