Lilium pumilum
Compact lily with red spotted flowers that are highly fragrant. Ideal for small gardens and containers.
The Dwarf Tiger Lily needs at least 6-7 hours of direct sunlight daily to bloom well in summer; plant the bulb in spring in well-drained soil to prevent rot. Water moderately, keeping the soil slightly moist but never waterlogged. It is very hardy and tolerates extremely cold winters (down to -25 °C), but it is toxic —keep it away from children and pets, especially cats. Always grow it outdoors, ideally in garden beds or pots with good drainage.
