Levisticum officinale
Perennial herbaceous plant of the Apiaceae family with bright green leaves and yellow flowers. Traditionally used in cooking and medicine for its aromatic leaves with a celery-like flavor.
Plant in well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Water regularly keeping soil moist but not waterlogged. Harvest young leaves to stimulate production. Very hardy and requires minimal maintenance.
