Quick and easy cultivation, ideal for balconies and small gardens. Best in spring and autumn.
Plant lettuce in spring or autumn in a spot with 4-8 hours of direct sunlight per day, using fresh, organic-rich and well-drained soil. Water frequently to keep the soil constantly moist, as it requires abundant watering and does not tolerate drying out. It withstands light frosts down to -5°C, but during very cold spells it is advisable to protect it with a frost fleece. Harvest outer leaves progressively to extend the cropping period.
