Kalanchoe luciae
Kalanchoe with flattened leaves of blood-red color, highly ornamental. It becomes more colorful in intense sunlight conditions.
Kalanchoe luciae needs direct sunlight for at least 6 hours a day to maintain its characteristic intense purple-red colour; when grown indoors, place it in the brightest spot available. Water sparingly, allowing the substrate to dry out completely between waterings, as it is a succulent that is very sensitive to excess moisture and frequent watering. Use a well-draining substrate, ideally a cactus and succulent mix, and make sure the pot has drainage holes. Keep in mind that it is toxic to people and pets, so handle it with care and keep it out of their reach.
