Juniperus turbinata
Mediterranean Juniper with slow growth and aromatic foliage. Ideal for rocky gardens and arid terrain.
The Phoenician juniper is a full-sun tree that needs at least 6-7 hours of direct light per day; plant it outdoors in autumn or spring in well-drained, preferably stony or sandy soil. Water sparingly, as it is highly drought-tolerant and excess moisture can cause root rot. It withstands hard frosts down to -12 °C, making it ideal for Mediterranean, rocky or arid gardens with no need for winter protection. Bear in mind that it is toxic, so keep its berries away from children and pets.
