Jovibarba globifera
Green globular rosettes that turn red in cold conditions. Flowering with discreet yellow flowers.
Jovibarba globifera needs direct sun for at least 5-6 hours a day and a very well-drained substrate, ideally mixed with grit or sand, to prevent root rot. Water very sparingly, allowing the substrate to dry out completely between waterings, especially in winter. It is extremely hardy and tolerates temperatures down to -20°C, so it can stay outdoors year-round in most climates. If grown indoors, place it in the brightest spot available, such as a south-facing windowsill.
