Jatropha podagrica
A tropical succulent shrub with large, dentate leaves and a distinctive swollen, bulbous stem base. It produces bright red flowers in clusters during spring and summer months.
Prefers bright light and well-draining soil. Water moderately during growth, allowing soil to dry between waterings. Reduce watering in winter. Avoid temperatures below 10°C. Toxic if ingested.
