Jasminum officinale
Climbing plant with white aromatic flowers that are very fragrant, ideal for pergolas and sunny walls. Extended summer flowering and easy maintenance.
Jasminum officinale needs an outdoor location with direct sun for at least 6 hours a day, making it ideal for pergolas, walls or fences where it can climb and spread up to 10 metres. Water with moderate frequency, allowing the substrate to dry out slightly between waterings, especially in winter. It is frost-hardy down to -10 °C, making it perfectly suited to Mediterranean and continental climates without any special winter protection. Plant it in spring or autumn in a well-drained substrate and prune lightly after flowering to maintain a compact shape and encourage blooming the following year.
