Winter jasmine

Jasminum nudiflorum

Description

Climbing plant with delicate yellow flowers that blooms in winter. Small and fine leaves that give it an airy and elegant appearance.

Growing tips

Jasminum nudiflorum is a hardy climber that tolerates temperatures down to -10 °C and thrives outdoors in a spot with at least 3-4 hours of direct sunlight per day. Water moderately, allowing the soil to dry out slightly between waterings, and plant it in autumn or spring in well-drained soil. Provide a support structure (wall, trellis or pergola) to guide its growth up to 4 metres tall, and prune lightly after its winter flowering to maintain shape and encourage new flowering shoots.
