Dwarf Iris

Iris reticulata

Description

Dwarf iris with fragrant blue and purple flowers that bloom in early spring. Perfect for garden borders.

Growing tips

Plant the bulbs in autumn in a sunny spot with 6-8 hours of direct sunlight and well-drained soil, as Iris reticulata is very sensitive to excess moisture. Water sparingly, especially during summer dormancy, to prevent bulb rot. It is very hardy and tolerates frost down to -15 °C, so no winter protection is needed. Bear in mind that it is toxic, so handle it with care if children or pets are present.
