Festuca glauca
Ornamental grass with blue-gray colored leaves, perfect for dry gardens and xeriscaping. Requires minimal maintenance and is very drought resistant.
Festuca glauca is a very hardy ornamental grass that needs an outdoor location with direct sun for at least 6 hours a day. Water it very sparingly, allowing the substrate to dry out completely between waterings, as it tolerates drought very well and is prone to rotting from excess moisture. It prefers a well-drained, even poor soil, and withstands temperatures down to -15 °C without issue. Plant it in spring or autumn and trim back the old foliage in late winter to keep it compact and vigorous.
