Ferocactus histrix
Spherical cactus characterized by its prominent spines arranged in a spiral pattern. Bright yellow flowers that emerge in summer.
Requires abundant sunlight and excellent drainage. Water moderately in summer and very little in winter. Tolerates light frost.
