Echinocactus grusonii
Large globular cactus with brilliant golden spines that give it a distinctive appearance. Produces yellow flowers in spring and is a very popular plant for cactus collections.
Requires abundant direct sunlight and very well-draining soil. Water only in summer when soil is completely dry. Keep in dry location during winter. Avoid excessive moisture.
