Description

Biennial herbaceous plant with deeply lacinated leaves and lilac-purple flowers grouped in cylindrical inflorescences. A rustic and colonizing species that grows in dry and ruderal terrain.

Growing tips

Low maintenance plant. Prefers well-drained and dry soils. Drought tolerant. Can be direct seeded in spring. Remove spent flowers to prevent excessive self-seeding.
