Cucurbita pepo var. cylindrica
Productive Cucurbitaceae with very simple cultivation. Requires frequent watering and abundant soil.
Plant the cylindrical zucchini in full sunlight (at least 6 hours per day) in a well-drained outdoor spot, as it does not tolerate frost and requires temperatures above 13 °C. Water frequently, keeping the soil consistently moist, especially during summer and the flowering period. Use a substrate rich in organic matter and feed with compost or a balanced fertilizer throughout the growing season to encourage good production. It is an ideal outdoor plant for Mediterranean climates and very easy to grow, making it perfect for home vegetable gardens in spring.
