Cucumber needs full sun exposure (at least 7 hours per day) and frequent, abundant watering, keeping the soil consistently moist but never waterlogged. Plant it in spring once temperatures stay above 10 °C and all frost risk has passed, in an outdoor spot with rich, well-draining soil. If growing a climbing variety, provide a stake or trellis to support its vertical growth up to 200 cm. It is an easy-to-grow vegetable that thrives in Mediterranean climates.
