Cornus sanguinea
A deciduous European shrub with blood-red stems that are particularly striking in winter. It produces small white flowers in spring followed by white berries.
Prefers full sun and well-drained soil. Frost and drought-tolerant once established. Prune after flowering to maintain shape and encourage new red growth.
