Coreopsis tinctoria
Annual or biennial herbaceous plant with striking yellow and brown flowers. Native to the North American Great Plains, it is very hardy and easy to grow.
Very drought-tolerant plant. Prefers well-drained soil and full sun. Does not require frequent fertilizing. Regular deadheading extends the blooming period.
