Corchorus olitorius
Annual herbaceous plant native to tropical Asia, cultivated for its edible nutrient-rich leaves. Grows quickly in warm and humid climates, forming tall stems with oval green leaves.
Requires abundant sunlight, rich soil and plenty of moisture. Sow in spring when temperature exceeds 15ºC. Harvest young leaves regularly to encourage growth. Perfect for tropical and subtropical climates.
