Silver Bush

Convolvulus cneorum

Description

Compact shrub with silvery leaves and white flowers with pink centers. Very drought-resistant and ideal for dry Mediterranean gardens.

Growing tips

Silver bush needs a full sun location with at least 6 hours of direct sunlight per day, planted in an outdoor Mediterranean-style garden. Water it very infrequently, as it is highly drought-tolerant and handles dry conditions with ease. Plant it in well-drained soil, ideally sandy or gravelly, to prevent moisture from building up around the roots. It withstands frosts down to -8 °C, making it a hardy, low-maintenance shrub well suited to dry gardens.
